Mariëlle van Dijk

Mariëlle van Dijk works full-time as a Chartered Accountant with a specialization in not-for-profit and fundraising organizations. Mariëlle is responsible for the audit of annual accounts, subsidy statements and the overall services at a large number of organizations in the sectors mentioned. Mariëlle has over 20 years of experience at a big-four audit firm and is characterized by her strong personal involvement and genuine passion for the industry. She has carried out field audit work for a number of clients, including in Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Kenya and Uganda.

In addition to her working career, Mariëlle, as chair of the Raad voor Jaarverslaggeving (RJ) working group for fundraising organizations, is responsible for proposals to change the reporting guidelines for the sector and she is involved as a knowledge partner in consultations with Centraal Bureau Fondsenwerving (CBF) and Goede Doelen Nederland. She has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Movies that Matter Foundation since 2017.

At Dutch&Detained, within the Supervisory Board, Mariëlle is responsible for supervising financial management.
